To test, type in UPPER-CASE LETTERS to the textarea, then move the focus out of the textarea. See if letters remain unchanged (correct behavior), or if they turn into all-lower-case (incorrect). If they turn do into lower-case, then the bug also causes them to reappear in upper-case when starting to enter more text.
